Volunteers Make the Difference!

PAA is very fortunate to have a wonderful group of dedicated folks who generously give of their free time to make this one of the best programs in the county for our children. It is the efforts of all the coaches, managers, field maintenance crews, and organizers which make all of this possible. Our program is growing rapidly and so are the responsibilities. Often we hear that people want to help out, but they just don't know how to get involved or what they can do other than coaching. Here are some suggestions......

• Attend meetings as an interested parent or become a representative for your child's team
• Organize snacks or phone lists for your child's coach/team
• Offer to line fields/set flags in the morning on game days
• Sponsor a team with an individual or business donation
• Help organize a fund raiser for the club or your child's team
• Offer to help the coach at practices
• Be a team manager or offer to help with paperwork, uniforms, organizing team events, etc
• Helping with awards night
• Consider one of the open Board position (see the listing below)

Parent involvement is crucial to the continued success of this program. Any assistance you can offer is welcomed and greatly appreciated. All of our children benefit when we work together. To offer your help, contact your child's coach directly or Chris Lee.

The PAA Board meets the 1st Monday of each month (in the Poolesville High School Meeting Room at 7:00 pm).

The Board is currently seeking volunteers to take over the following positions:
