Ripken Training Camps at UMAC Taylor Fields!!

The snow is melting and baseball is just around the corner. We are pleased to announce that UMAC will host a Ripken Baseball Camp at Taylor Field on Monday April 5th 2010. The camp will feature both morning and afternoon sessions for players age 6 - 12. The cost of the camp is $50. Players will learn the fundamentals of Infield, Outfield, Hitting and Pitching taught by Ripen Baseball certified instructors following the Ripken Way. This camp was made possible through UMAC's partnership with Ripken Baseball which we announced in 2009. The camp fact sheet and sign-up form are attached to this message. We hope to see everyone at Taylor on April 5th. This is a great way to get ready for the Spring baseball season.

About our Program...

We will be playing in the UMAC league again this year. PAA baseball teams hold all practices and home games here in Poolesville. Away games will usually be played at Taylor Elementary fields.

Sunday UMAC all-star play and Cal Ripken post-season play for the State Championship is also available for any PAA player who is selected during the UMAC tryouts. More info to follow.
